Project Website: Black Lit Network

Project Director: Howard Rambsy

The Black Lit Network presents information and ideas about African American literature. It connects that literature with digital material, like podcasts, data visualizations, and historical archives. It provides answers to basic yet enduring questions:

  • What’s good African American literature to read?
  • What’s the story behind famous publications by black writers?
  • What’s the relationship of one work to dozens of other works?
  • What key terms assist us in understanding the works of black writers?
