The Birth of A.I.

This project was as much about teaching people about the basic progression from natural resources to digital technology as it was about challenging myself. At the beginning, I had only a limited amount of knowledge on the process for making it a reality. In the process, I learned a lot about Javascript, CSS, HTML, and Github.

The project itself is a simple sliding puzzle game where the player can swap pieces that are next to each other to create a full picture. As mentioned in the previous section, the pictures formed show a progression from Silicon, a naturally occurring metal with interesting properties, to the advanced Large Language Models we use today. There were originally going to be more steps in the game, but I found it was probably best to leave it where it was as more levels would have made the pieces harder to see.
