Muslims praying at the Great Mosque of Mecca (Al-Kaaba)

Religion has a big reflection on someone’s identity and the way they live their lives. Islam directs most of the Muslim’s life and how they should carry themselves through life. Muslims pray five times a day. The Athan is sounded off in every mosque to call all Muslims to the prayer throughout the day. Restaurants, malls, schools, and everyone, stop everything they are doing to go pray, as the video shows how Muslims in Makkah react when they hear the Athan. When it was Athan time (The call for prayer) everyone was walking to al-Qibla (Kaaba) to pray. The Quran says,

“(And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and whatever of good (deeds that Allah loves) you send forth for yourselves before you, you shall find it with Allah. Certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what you do.)”

This quote from the Quran encourages Muslims to pray on time. All Muslims share the same beliefs so they all do the same steps and moves while praying. That shows identity by praying and following the religion makes our life much more relaxing and better since we know that Allah will give us the best for us. The Quran says ,

“(God is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and sends down water from the sky with which He brings forth fruits for your provision. And He has made the ships serviceable for you, so that they run upon the sea by His command; and He has made the rivers serviceable for you)”

The human perception of the signs of Allah’s greatness in the universe, the sites of His power, and the movement of His grace, through what man witnesses with his eyes, lives in his existence, and meets with Him in all aspects of his life, and that is through his openness to the Qur’anic education that invites man to meet Allah in obedience to Him.
