Define digital humanities – When I first came into this class I was thinking that it would been all dealing with technology and coding but. It was a lot more then that I was able to learn how to find data and use a stop map for the first time I was able to pick up on new skills and I love it this class over all was great for every thing.

1. Who made the project? ( The project is sponsored by the Illinois clean energy community foundation and conducted by western Illinois university’s Illinois institute for rural affairs ( llRA).
2. What are the goals of the project? ( The Macoupin Count Open Data Portal serves as the hub of Macoupin’s efforts towards open government and transparency. it provides a wind array of information, including data on tax dollars , business locations genealogical records, wind monitoring floodplain studies and election results. )
3. Who is the project’s intended audience(s)? ( Taxpayers, consumers, genealogists The intended audience for Macoupin County Open Portal is taxpayers, consumers, genealogists and anyone interested in accessing information about the county’s services, property transactions and wind date.).
4. What are the project’s conclusions? In other words, what did the researchers learn after all their hard work? (to promote open government and transparency as well as to help people have a wind rang of information about how the county can apply there serves, as well as including information about the date on government services , county budgets, and election results.  The goal the companies were making is being able to help the citizen find information much easier about were their tax dollars being spent.)

6. How long did the project take from start to finish? (the project had two phrase before finish it in 2005 on September 1).
7. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the project? ( Strengths- the data being easy accessible online , enabling users to search, or even a download. Weaknesses-  a weaknesses privacy concerns : there is a risk of sensitive information being exposed,  which requires careful management and security measures.)

8. What specific methods and/or technologies does the project? ( Methods – Regular updates , data is updated often monthly to that the information remains current and accurate. Technologies- interactive charts and groups tools like Macoupin Budget.com and Macoupin Chartbook. Com use interactive visualizations to help users understand complex financial data.
9. Reflect a little on what the project tells us about our local region. Does it enhance our knowledge with facts you didn’t know before? Does it add nuance or context to things you already knew? Does it gel with your understanding of the region? Does it seem off-base? (  Enhanced  knowledge- the project access to a wide array of data, including government services country, budgets as well as election results, property transactions. Understanding – the transparency and accessibility of the data can reinforce what residents know about local governance and community services. The Accuracy- overall Macoupin county open data project appears to be a robust tool for enhancing local knowledge and providing detailed insight.

Hi, for my Voyant and Palladio assignment I chose to do the Alton encyclopedia and the St. Louis article. The things I saw come up a lot when it comes down to comparing. The word chose popped up a lot more in Alton than St. Louis, which was opposite. Why I decided to choose these to articles to compare because I wanted to see what data or facts i could gather up and wanted to see how Voyant is going to re-shape these articles.

Outline

My outline project will be based upon the music of Saint Louis, and one of them that comes up is Kathy Dunham, and many other performers and artists that are worldwide in Saint Louis. I’ll be giving you full details and topics, and my digital project, will be going through a story map of where things originated and how Kathy Dunham played a huge part in Saint Louis history. Also, many others that have followed in her path to become leaders and put a stamp on America. I want to explore different kinds of music genres, things that people may not even think could come together, but when you see it is beautiful. I will be describing Certain movements originated through my story map, giving you Full disclosure of how Kathy Dunham and others were able to. This creates new elements in dance culture and music culture because without music, there won’t be any dance, and without dance, there’ll still be music. But both of them coexist together so well so I am so happy to be able to explore the different music genres, super excited for you guys to see my final project and also giving you full evidence and details of how things are going through the process.

What I chose for my digital item was my Beats headphones. They are noise-cancelling headphones perfect for people who don’t like loud noise, and a benefit is they keep your ears nice and warm during the cold months. You have 50 hours of playtime so they could be between music, calls, etc… I really like using them because they have been the best investment I made for myself and they are worth the money so go invest in some beast headphones.

AI Review on – A Murder at the End of the World

This TV has a lot of sic-if and science fiction and gives a little bit of AI features throughout the TV show. This also shows how the main character, Brit Marling she’s in this parallel world where she goes in and out of her past life to her currently life. Eventually, she realizes she is stuck in a time loop where she’s going between her old and current memories. She sees a guy that she knows, and she believes that this is a guy that she used to be in love with but she doesn’t know how this also shows a lot of AI features where it explains graphic features of their anime and animations that is being shown through the entire show. example it shows how they look up certain data research through their computers which is not the same it is built in like AI and it also shows the graphics that are being shown through how they transition through the time travel loop. Overall this TV show is very overrated, but it is very good to watch and I promote it very highly.

Hi, in this article you will learn about Cahokia VR. It is a virtual reality version of what the people look like in the Cahokia village and how they would make their tools. This app is available for any phone user and also gives you a little background history of Cahokia, and where and why they came up with this idea. They can also help children learn more about their history. I like this app and i feel like it can be of very good use in the near future .
