We are currently seeking proposals from university and college students, staff, and faculty to present on their approach to integrating digital humanities approaches into undergraduate curriculum, informal learning environments, and student life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Potential topics might address:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Innovative approaches to using established digital humanities projects in the classroom<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Undergraduates sharing their digital research<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Engaging students in DH practices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DH integration within particular institutional settings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DH pedagogy and intersectionality<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Approaches to DH curriculum that crosses disciplinary boundaries<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Service learning, community engagement and the digital humanities<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Undergraduate DH program design (ie. minors\/majors\/certificates)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DH in informal educational environments<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By bringing together students, faculty, and practicing professionals, this conference will allow discussions about the intersection of original, collaborative research with pedagogy and curriculum design.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proposals can be made for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poster Presentations <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Flash talks (3 minutes)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individual papers (15 minutes)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fully constituted panels (90 minutes)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Workshops (90 minutes)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abstracts no longer than 300 words in length can be submitted <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeg34xMpP6FoDR-u0e_9mNrElUIdGWMopoPucveAm1yDhqRpA\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">here<\/a>. Submissions are due by 5 pm on Friday, February 15, 2019.
