This first episode covers the autonomy of women throughout history, and leads us from the past in the 1500’s all the way to present, covering topics of women’s anatomy, birth giving, hormonal cycles, rape, women viewed as object, what people today are taught growing up to do in uncomfortable situations, slurs, and many other things. Here we are encouraging education of history through art and looking at the artists and artworks of major historical moments. It is through this exploration that I wish to ask you to join the discord, educate yourself on a historical moment through a piece of art, and\/or post an artwork you have made on the discord and express why it is important to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Linked here is the audio file for the podcast I have made to discuss topics of historical context through the lens of art with the help of my friends.
