A limitation in my findings is the lack of time, with more time I could have narrowed down The Lancet to just animal studies. But since we did have a short amount of time, my analysis of The Lancet and The Island of Dr. Moreau is broader. Another challenge I encountered was the close reading of The Lancet. The Lancet has such a large amount of articles even just from January- March. So I was not able to get a close reading, which also means I was not able to clean up the text and delete things that were not relevant to the content I needed to upload into Voyant. If I was to have close read The Lancet, I may have found even more words that could have been compared or ideas that could have been compared. Overall, my limitations seemed to be a big constraint on this project. The project could have benefited with more time put into it, and a closer reading of The Lancet.
Limitation Example:
I was not able to go through The Lancet very closely, so many of the most distinctive words are ones that could be eliminated. If time would have allowed I could have taken out the years, and months as distinctive words. It would have been a more informational summary of what the text contained.
