{"id":103,"date":"2022-11-16T22:18:03","date_gmt":"2022-11-16T22:18:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iris.siue.edu\/jarrodrhodes\/?page_id=103"},"modified":"2022-11-30T22:43:45","modified_gmt":"2022-11-30T22:43:45","slug":"my-journey","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/iris.siue.edu\/jarrodrhodes\/my-journey\/","title":{"rendered":"My Journey"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>What I learned over the years<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engineering Graphics &amp; CAD- How to perform technical drawing and where to apply it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineering Career Fair- I could apply for an internship as early as being a freshmen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IE 106- Learned 4 different engineering paths (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Industrial) and what their work could be like.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I am looking forward to applying myself an internship at BFW (or any other engineering company as a backup plan) to further my knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and possibly confirm my career path. I am also excited to enroll in Intro to Computing Science and Physics, I am curious to see what computer science is like and I wonder where physics apply itself to mechanical engineering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I want to be a Mechanical Engineer because I enjoy looking at buildings, the materials and shape of them is eye candy for me. I want to design buildings like those later in my future.
